i know i need a oil change im over by a 1000 miles and my car has had problems here and there starting up lately. i just noticed i was over due for a oil change and i cant get on till next week, when i get paid. will needing a oil change cause it to not start sometimes?If i need a oil change will that cause my car to have problems starting up?

no but bad oil or thin oil will cause ticking in the motor
it would have to be really bad for that. with smoke out the exhaust.
