you probably need to change the oil sending unit on it,when those get bad they will shut the car down its designed to do that,it keeps you from doing damage to the engine,usually that's all it is, is the sending unit,try changing it they cost around 40 bucks and that's probably the cheapest repair that you could get away with on that one,it takes less than 30 minutes to change one,and that usually does the trick,good luck with it.Have had problems with oil pressure It stalled out on me can this be fixed cheap?
when that happend on my husband struck we changed the thermostat and it cost abotu $50 or less
