You can change at any time. No need to perform any special flushes or anything like that. I would suggest the first oil change mileage to be at the 3,000 miles. I say this because I have notices that some cars will consume the new oil. After that I would go by the specs as set by the oil manufacturer. All of my vehicle's run synthetic and we change the oil in many vehicles each year to the synthetics. Being in the trucking business we regularly ran truck 15,000 to 25,000 miles between oil changes. Go ahead and purchase a quality product and run the recommended mileage. You will not see any increased wear. Yes you can but you should flush your engine and not mixed the oil. This is to make sure that your dirty old oil is removed from the system before you add in the new oil.

yep but you need to chainge oil more often say every 3000 miles insted of every 15000 miles if you are doing the 15000 mile oil chainges you still chainge the filter at 3000 to 6000 miles

i once put 10 30 , 10 40 , 30 w ,20 50 , atf and gear oil in my car at the same time to prove that it wouldnt hurt anything it didnt and i am still driveing it 140000 miles and 15 years later
Yes, no need for flushes (just a waste of money) and you must never beleive the BS about not being able to mix the two, or use various different weights of oil.... Heck different brands even.... (its just recommended that you keep it the same weight to just keep it at the same wieght, same brand to ensure the same amount of additives)
yes you can and I would like to see the inside of these motors that are going 15k miles on synthetic. Oil still gets dirty and additives still get used up. Oil never breaks down the additives just get warn out. How do you think they make recycled oil. The oil is still good it just needs to be filtered and new additive packages put in.
