Where do you check the oil level for your clutch on a 88 yamaha ventur?

If there is no reservoir on the handlebars(opposite brake fluid reservoir), you have a wet clutch witch uses the engine oil. If you have a wet clutch it's always best to use oil made for motorcycles, because it has additives for the clutch, and transmission.Where do you check the oil level for your clutch on a 88 yamaha ventur?
The oil level sight window is on the right crankcase cover (clutch cover) - bottom rear of the cover.

Put the bike on the center stand.

Start and run the engine for a few minutes - to circulate the oil throughout the engine and fill the oil filter.

Stop the engine and let it sit for a few minutes - to allow the oil to settle to the bottom of the crankcase.

The oil level should be between the upper %26amp; lower level lines on the window.Where do you check the oil level for your clutch on a 88 yamaha ventur?
You check it on the left handlebar, there is a pot there just like a brake pot. The pot has a sight window to check if there is fluid in it. Make sure the bike is level on the center stand. If you have to open it make sure the top of it is level so as not to spill any on the bike.
What's with the two thumbs down for the other guys? They are both correct in what they said, is there someone out there that doesn't like them for whatever reason? Or if you see a problem with their answer, then why don't you answer it?

The only thing I can see is if the poster is asking about checking the fluid in a hydraulic clutch, it the Venture has one.
