2.3 ford engine oil pressure problems?

when first start no oil pressure, but later it gets it2.3 ford engine oil pressure problems?
What everyone has said so far is true, but it could also be something as simple as a bad sending unit (the piece that sends info to your gauges) or even a bad gauge.2.3 ford engine oil pressure problems?
Oil pump is weak and bad. Replace it before you have to replace the whole engine!
Check your oil level first, and make sure you have the recommended amount in. Next, look under your car and check for major oil leaks, because those can cause a drop in pressure.
You will have to give us the mileage on that engine. Your oil pump might be worn or the incorrect oil in the engine. 2.3 are older engines so the bearings might be worn out also.
Could be as simple as a clogged oil filter,Fram filters suck, dont use them EVER.Change your oil and filter,Also keep checking oil level, low oil levels will do that also, and the oil pump could be goin bad.
Its not just your engine... i have a 1993 ford probe GT and anouther 1993 ford probe GT with a 96 engine and thay both have oil pressure it moves around and usually stays low... but its just the Ford Engine them selfs. (( Just blame ford. ))
the first thing i would do is change the sending unit.
