Engine oil reading problems?

my dipstick shows one side at full level and the other side a little bit over the full mark...what is going on?Engine oil reading problems?
read the damn thing, 1 side is hot the other cold im guessing, common in heavy equipment. you can checxk em while they are running lol(big heavy equipment)Engine oil reading problems?
Pretty easy to understand: The dipstick *tube does not enter the crankcase oil pan at a perfect right angle. Actually no dipstick tube does. Try sticking the dipstick in the tube 180 degrees from normal. You'll get a reverse reading on the stick.

Always have the car on level ground and check the oil after the motor has cooled off. Don't sweat a few thousandths of difference from one flat side of the stick to another.

Remember also that your car takes slightly less than 4 quarts (3.8) to fill it up to the full mark with a fresh Toyota oil filter which is made my Denso or a Denso oil filter by name brand.
Make sure that your vehicle is parked on leveled surface, and the engine is not hot (Give it a little time for all the oil to go down before you check it). However, as long as you are not too low or too high, you will be fine.
it is imperative to place your car on flat terrain, and let engine stand for 2 minuite,s check dipe sik then evertthing should be hunky dory
I really wouldn't worry about it.Because if it is a little over the full mark it won't do any harm.
The dip stick is entering the oil at an angle, so one side gets wetter than the other. Split the difference.
what year make and model,
No big deal. The dip stick is just going into the oil at an angle.
