Use lucas oil stablaizer you can get it at any auto parts store in the U.S it caust around $8.00 to $9.00 but it will last you a long time.Car oil problems?
well what kind of car is it would help some. but if in 5 months its 2 qts low hen i would say put in duralube in when your 1 qt low cuse it will help protect the enigen even if you are 2 qts low i have used it in a cr i had and i dident check the oil in it for a while and it was 3 qts low
if you caused damage due to lack of oil or lack of oil change its all internal damage. nothing you can do besides rebuilding the engine and that is in the high thousands to do.

3 months or 3000 miles...never a minute more for oil.
try a bottle of lucas oil treatment(sold at o'reillys)

with your next oil change and be regular about the changes.you could be loosing oil due to a leak,or your burning too much oil.
Put in a bottle of Dura lube ASAP. Trust me. It has saved my husbands old car many of times.
Just do as you said and go to work and back then take it to a shop and have it checked.

If there was any damage it was done before you put in the oil and most likely will not get any worse by the time you get to the shop. There probably was eough oil left to keep the engine from having real problems.

Tell your computer to remind you of these things so you do not forget and do it agaon.
it's ok i have been done this road befor

the Motor still runs right? no knocking or nuthing?

buy you some oil and a oil filter and change the motor oil and buy you a can of Engine Restorer %26amp; Lubricant it's a lit high $ but it really works i would bet $ on it i use it in every car i own

hope this kelps
shame on you dude.
well first things first check your oil daily just to make sure and see how fast you are loosing it second of all is there oil on the ground after it sits if not you may be burning the oil off internally which may be a costly repair my suggestion to you is make sure the oil gets changed regularly take it to the dealer they are usually just as cheap as say a lube stop and they are much more attentative to the vehicle most places offer a 99 point inspection that is free with the oil change
