Oil pumping problems annoying?

having a problem with my 1974 pontiac v8 400 engine, oil is getting pumped to drivers side rocker arms and pushrods perfectly fine with good oil pressure but im getting a very annoying tick on the passenger side and there is no oil coming out of pushrods at all, wondering if anyone has any knowledge or suggestions if you have questions just e mial me wolfmanjr40@yahoo.comOil pumping problems annoying?
The tick is a lifter knock, which means it's low on oil. The movement of oil to the heads is for someone else to answer.Oil pumping problems annoying?
It may sound like a spun bearing either one of the crank bearing or possible cam bearings or connecting rod bearing.Something along in that dept., may be the cause of it.You engine bearings create the oil pressure in the bearings if one is spun or so it won't take much longer before the engine says good bye and possibly sends a rod through the side of the engine block.I had the same thing happen soon after I heard that 2 of the rods went out the side of the block and snaped the connecting rods in 2 pieces.Do a oil pressure test with a gage and a compression test of each cylinder. If one cylinder is 20lbs lower than from the highest reading it time for a rebuilt engine.hgm20002000@yahoo.com
