Should there be oil between the clutch and drive plates in a clutch?

I recently took apart an old sachs moped. When putting it back together, should I oil or lubricate the plates in any way, or should they be dry?

It's a Sachs 505 engine, with a centrifugal clutch. Thanks for the help!Should there be oil between the clutch and drive plates in a clutch?
There should never be oil, or anything on a clutch plate.Should there be oil between the clutch and drive plates in a clutch?
This sounds like a ';dry'; clutch set up. There are wet clutch set ups that use oil, but I have never seen a wet centrifugal clutch. If it was dry when you took it apart you have answered your own question.
no not at all no oil or lub should be between the two
